Debt Free – Freedom at Last!

Times were hard.  Jobs had likely been lost.  Social status was a thing of the past.  Perhaps many now found themselves in survival mode – yet somehow rejoicing.  Why?  Because they followed their beliefs.   At least that is what history tells us.  The early church as recorded in Acts of the New Testament, faced overwhelming needs.  Yet …

There were no needy persons among them.  For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.   Acts 4:34-35 niv

Consider this inspiring story of today’s church doing something like the early church of Jesus Christ:

How might that look in our communities – if we simply employed the idea of ‘Find and need and fill it’?
